Joe Kutchera Offers Latest Information on Hispanics Online in His New Book “Latino Link”

I had a great opportunity to interview Joe Kutchera at the Spanish Language Media Conference that was recently held in Denton, Texas. I’m currently finishing up his new book, Latino Link: Building Brands Online with Hispanic Communities and Content, which is about today’s online climate and how Hispanics are utilizing the online media technology that they are introduced to.

In my opinion, I highly recommend that you get a copy of Joe’s book. It’s one of the first books that offer up to date information on Hispanic online media and current internet and mobile activities. I really enjoyed reading the case studies from professional companies that use online meda for their campaigns and the book’s content makes it very simple to comprehend, excellent for academic study or marketing research. You can chat with Joe on Facebook and Twitter, he’s more than happy to discuss about his professional background or his current work. He’s very cool and very passionate about Hispanic online media content. Please view my video interview above and enjoy the book.

My blog post made my college newspaper!

I happened to walk into my office last week when a co-worker told that I made the my college newspaper the UTD Mercury. I was very surprised so I went and picked up a copy of the newspaper and wouldn’t you know it, a copy of a blog post is displayed in their “Blog Bites” section. It’s a post I did on Latin cooking awhile back with an emphasis on my desire to cook traditional Puerto Rican cooking. The copies of the article is displayed below and highlighted in yellow. Normally, I am a strong believer of online media and the transition away from print to the internet, but in this case I can honestly say that there can be a balance of the traditional with the new. I manage to get a free promotion from the newspaper and hopefully some more followers to the my blog.
