Mimus

The Chalk-browed Mockingbird (Mimus saturninus) can be found in eastern South America. It is an adaptable species that is present in a variety of habitats like savannas, forest edges, low open woodlands and pastures. In general, it prefers open habitats and is often seen in parks and gardens. As far as its vocal behaviour is concerned, it mimics other species, including Roadside Hawk (Rupornis magnirostris) and American Kestrel (Falco sparverius).
