Half of her still sees, while the other half has taken shelter in the dark. The blue eye, her only open window to the world, is heavy with weariness and questions; the other hides beneath the wing of a night moth, refusing to witness any more. Her tears are red, because this grief doesn’t rise from the surface but from somewhere deep. Her hands touch her face not to hide it, but to confirm she is still here. This is a portrait of solitude, sleepless nights, and the fragile moment of being caught between seeing and looking away. Hand drawn , oil on canvas
