Entropy

by Mi Retratito

This piece is an architecture of transience; a dance between the will to build and the freedom to let go. Through a breathing fractal geometry, the work visualizes the invisible pulse within us: a structure that requires disorder to avoid becoming inert. The metallic modules emerge with an illusory solidity, systems that seem immutable yet carry within their code the promise of drift. Upon interaction, the geometry yields to the gravity of a single center, reminding us that collapse is not destruction, but a necessary return to simplicity. In this space, emptiness is not absence; it is the substrate where life occurs. We are not the form we project, but the logic that survives its own crumbling, a pulse in search of equilibrium that finds its true nature at the precise moment it accepts breaking apart. -Dedicated to Piki #MiRetratito #MiRetratitoArt Note: @MiRetratito first studied computer science in 1998. Since then, design and artistic-commercial programming have been part of her environment and career, especially on the web. In 2025, she returned to exploring coding languages with a focus purely on art, developing a personal approach through a process that combines her own programming with AI-assisted collaboration. This work is the result of a slow two-month development process and will likely continue to evolve.
