Aquarius

by Mi Retratito

This work is built from the persistence of an inner vibration. It does not refer to a specific sound or a recognizable narrative, but to a state that remains when the audible is no longer necessary. Music does not appear as an identifiable melody, but as an impulse, a presence that organizes the internal rhythm of the piece and shifts perception from the ear toward vision and time. Color and visual rhythm operate as emotional modulations, in the same way music acts upon the body without the need for words. Their gradual emergence and withdrawal do not follow a logic of beginning and end, but processes of continuous transformation. The image does not seek to settle, but to remain in transit, like affective memory, which emerges in layers rather than all at once. Temporality is a central element of the work. Duration, waiting, and repetition construct an experience that demands sustained attention. Here, music does not lead toward a climax; instead, it holds time, accompanies persistence, and allows the viewer to inhabit the piece without the expectation of resolution. A space for intimate contemplation, where the visible does not replace what is felt, but accompanies it. -For TJ, Gaia, Nano & Isabella. #MiRetratito #MiRetratitoArt
