The Wings We Stitch
by PanteaAEW
This is a collaboration between me and my dear talented @elishams Digital painting—> Eli Animation Poem & Music —> Me BASE ON A TRUE STORY …. In life, we often find ourselves resembling this doll or this angel. We are people who walk through the world carrying invisible wounds; a smile on our faces and pain hidden deep inside that no one knows about. Sometimes we see ourselves as smaller than we truly are, forgetting that even trembling hands can become a source of healing. Sometimes we believe that we must be completely strong, perfect, and untouched by pain in order to help others. But the most beautiful acts of kindness often come from those who have experienced loneliness, loss, and suffering themselves. Those who have seen the darkness understand best how to become a light for someone else. Sometimes saving someone else is the very thing that saves us. Sometime the wings we stitch for another soul become the very wings that one day allow us to fly. POEM & MUSIC BY ME In a silent room, so cold and grey, A lonely doll just fades away. With eyes of rain and heart so small, She waits in shadows, lost in all. A wounded dove flew through the night, With broken wings and fading light. It found her hands, so soft and kind, A healing touch, a peace to find. Her little hands became the cure, For broken wings that could endure. The wounded dove, through love’s embrace, Awoke again as an angel’s grace. The angel rested on her knee, Revealing pain no one could see. The doll stitched wings with gentle art, Sewing hope into a broken heart. Two wounded souls, side by side, Shared their tears they tried to hide. Through every scar and every pain, They found their wings to fly again. The doll became a black dove’s flight, Held by the angel, soft and bright. For all the love she gave before, She received the endless sky to soar.
