ROCK THE PARTY: Hommage to Tezos Tuesday

ROCK THE PARTY 70s ICON SERIES • 1/1 I’ve always been obsessed with the visual language of the 1970s, when art, music, fashion and graphic design seemed to feed off one another. Album covers mattered. Concert posters mattered. Typography had attitude. Color could practically make noise. That energy is at the heart of my 70s ICON SERIES. I’m not interested in simply recreating the decade. I’m taking the design language I love from it and pushing it through my own lens. Rock the Party was inspired by Tezos Tuesday and the way it feels to me like a weekly rock festival for artists. Different artists take the stage. New work appears. Familiar people return. Someone completely unexpected catches your attention. Then next Tuesday, we gather and do it all over again. The piece pulls that energy into the clean geometry, saturated color, typography and graphic experimentation I love from 1970s design. The crowd becomes part of the composition itself, reduced to shape, rhythm and color. It’s not really about a concert. It’s about the gathering. See you Tuesday. CREATION / PROCESS Created through an artist-directed generative process using ChatGPT (Neo). My process with Neo is conversational. I begin with the concept, references, visual influences and the direction in my head. From there, the work develops through repeated rounds of art direction, generation, rejection, correction and refinement. I direct the composition, color palette, typography, imagery, design language and final selection until the piece becomes the thing I was trying to pull out of my brain. There isn’t one magic prompt. The conversation is part of the creative process.
