Perhaps He Shouldn't Be Here

It was midnight, and I was walking through the streets. That man, despite his age, was preparing his broom to go out and clean the city. I honestly felt ashamed of my own age. Perhaps at his age, he should have been experiencing a dignified retirement, but... I found myself thinking about the concept of geographical determinism. how much of our lives, opportunities, and circumstances can be shaped simply by the place where we are born. #PeoplE collection 13/116 11/18/2014 // Tehran, Iran
