This portrait is part of my ongoing exploration of minimalism in portrait photography. I used a monochrome palette to remove the distraction of color and focus entirely on expression, facial structure, and the relationship between light and shadow. The dark fabric frames the face, creating a simple composition that emphasizes presence rather than narrative. Instead of directing the viewer toward a specific story, I wanted to leave space for individual interpretation while maintaining a clean and timeless visual language.
