Impression of Power

The thumb presses down and the figure bends beneath it. History tells us this is where power lives. But look again. A fingerprint does not belong to the thumb alone. It belongs to the hand. And the hand belongs to the body. The many. Every line you see is a life. Every ridge a voice. Every mark a presence that cannot be erased. So the question is not how strong the thumb appears. The question is what happens when the hand finally remembers it is the one that chooses to move. This piece began with a single drawing. I fed it into Midjourney and Miix (Webbie Social) to see what it might become, what variations could emerge from one original design. From the outputs I selected the pieces that resonated, then returned to them by hand, correcting, redrawing, finishing, animating. What you see is the result of four things in conversation: traditional art, digital art, film and AI.
