The Hyrcanian Forests

The Hyrcanian forests are among the most important forests in the world and play a vital role in the ecosystem. These forests are located in Iran and Azerbaijan, with most of their area situated in Iran. Stretching like a green belt along the southern coast of the Caspian Sea, the Hyrcanian forests are unfortunately disappearing due to illegal construction and lack of proper care. I took this photo last month when I traveled to these forests. Collaboration between Chazwesley99 & Tara.
