Rooted in Light

There are seasons in life when everything above the surface feels uncertain. The wind changes, the ground shifts, and the weight becomes harder to carry. But peace does not always arrive when the world becomes still. Sometimes, it begins within us, in the roots that hold us when everything else feels uncertain. My roots live in the earth, in nature, in the places where I feel connected to something larger than myself. They live in creativity, in love, in healing, and in the quiet strength that grows when we learn to accept both the darkness and the light. This piece is about finding harmony within the whole of who we are. About remaining rooted while still allowing ourselves to grow. About discovering that even what was formed in darkness can reach toward the light. Perhaps peace is not the absence of struggle, but the quiet knowing that we are held, by the earth beneath us, by the love within us, and by the light we carry forward. Still rooted. Still growing. Still reaching for the light.
