Chromatic Overlay

The work is a digitally manipulated photographic composition featuring a reclining female figure. The body serves as the visual base upon which multiple graphic layers are superimposed. I employ a palette of saturated colors, predominantly greens, blues, reds, and violets. These colors are applied through transparencies and blending modes, generating a mixing and overlapping effect between the figure and the abstract elements. In the image, I incorporate geometric shapes, textures, and linear graphics that fragment the body and disrupt its visual continuity. This creates a layered reading, where the figurative (the body) and the abstract (the shapes and colors) coexist on the same plane. The original lighting is softened by the digital manipulation, prioritizing color and composition over actual volume. The result is a hybrid image that combines photography and digital design, exploring the relationship between body, color, and visual structure.
