Lost Pier - Story Behind

I never knew how much work it was, but it's super fun. I do all my hand-drawn pieces in Photoshop, including this one. Working with Alexander was a whole new experience. Combining a hand-drawn illustration with a photo is awesome. It's like the drawing brings the photo to life in any way you want. Alexander: Ever since I picked up a camera, I had this one shot in mind. It was inspired by a tutorial from Elia Loccardi of that very spot. But, when I finally got there, the crowd was insane. Everyone wanted the same location. I've always wanted my work to stand out. So even though I loved the scene, I didn’t like my photo looking like everyone else’s. Teaming up with Alexia was the game-changer. Mixing pixel art with photography, especially with her unique touch, we made something truly special. Fun fact: While writing the description for the photo from a villain's perspective, I spoke with someone I really don't like to get in the right mood.
