Spring Chores - Story Behind

This is the story behind the collaborative work "Spring Chores": https://objkt.com/tokens/KT1GMFukaANkLNZdA8tVYUFa1Jsf4S7YadGB/8 Alexander: I took this photo during a family hike back in 2022 on Mount Meron. The original title of the photograph was "What do you want from me," inspired by the movie "Karate Kid." The pose of the flower reminded me of the kid trying to master one of the fighting poses. However, this collaboration was created after the war in which I participated, and I aimed to create something completely non-offensive. Universal_smile suggested drawing fairies gathering dew, and I happily accepted. Universal_smile: When we decided to create a fairy tale, I immediately remembered the Disney fairies - Tinker Bell, Fauna, Silvermist, and others. I adored this cartoon in my childhood, and it served as my inspiration. While drawing the fairy tale, I imagined how these characters live - how they build their homes, play under the flowers, and catch the sun rays. I thought about who friends is with whom, why the fairy in the red dress decided to collect dew with her red-haired friend, and why another little fairy isolated herself by a small flower to collect dew there, thoughtfully looking up. I like to play out moments of the fairy tale in my mind.
