“JPGina SaveAs” girlfriend of: “Right Click and Save As Guy” by XCOPY - Sculpture version by Daiana Lazzarin

by DAIANA LAZZARIN #objkt4objkt

In a chaotic corner of the metaverse, where GIFs never stop flashing and memes are considered sacred relics, lived the famous “Right Click and Save As Guy” by XCOPY. She was a wandering soul, half pixel, half glitch, always hovering, searching for the next digital treasure she could snatch with a simple click. One day, amid illegal downloads of pixelated kittens and neon wallpapers, “JPGina SaveAs” appeared: an enigmatic woman formed by layers of poorly compressed JPGs, surrounded by a glitchy halo that made the edges of her silhouette crackle like a malfunctioning CRT. She had the laugh of a corrupted .mp3 file and eyes that sparkled like a yet-to-be-minted NFT. He, with romantic clumsiness, approached her and showed her his ritual: "Look, love, just press the right button, choose "Save Image As," and that's it! You're now the owner of your own piece of cyberspace." "JPGina SaveAs" laughed tenderly, as if her laughter were a beloved bug in the code of reality, and agreed to become her digital accomplice. Together they explored virtual worlds: flea markets of forgotten GIFs, blue pixel beaches, and entire galaxies generated by AI. But fate, always mischievous, decided to take a surreal turn. During a night when the servers trembled with electrical storms of data, the girlfriend was hit by an overload of "memecoin energy." Her body began to pixelate until it solidified, transforming into a vibrant sculpture, half digital, half tangible. And as if it were an act of interdimensional contemporary art, Daiana Lazzarin, without warning, appeared on the scene: she took it in her hands, gave it shape and color, and left it shining in an invisible plaza between the Andes Mountains and cyberspace. The “Right Click and Save As Guy,” although saddened by the loss of his pixel love, knew that she was now eternal: a glitch-romantic relic, a sculpture that united digital love with real matter. And there, every time someone hovers over her memory, a whisper can still be heard: “Don’t forget to right-click, darling.”
