Outside of Time.
by Alex VA
She sat upon her pedestal as if time itself had chosen to pass her by, leaving her alone with eternity. Behind her, the world erupted in crimson bursts of passion, ink-black stains of doubt, and jagged, fractured strokes of other people's expectations. Curled into herself, she searched for warmth within her own being. Her nudity was not an act of defiance it was pure, resonant vulnerability. No armor. No masks. No artificial shine. Just a human soul, caught off guard by the realization of its own helplessness before the relentless march of time. Memento Mori, the ancient letters whispered. Remember that you must die. But her eyes seemed to say something different: Remember that you must live. Remember how easy it is to dissolve into the noise, the chaos, the aggression of passing days without ever embracing yourself, without ever daring to look within. Her entire posture is a manifesto of fragility. We spend a lifetime battling the storms outside, forgetting that the true harbor lies within us. And while entire worlds behind her were collapsing and being born anew, painting the space in the colors of tragedy and triumph, she remained outside of time. A frozen moment of eternal beauty, suspended between a fleeting past and an inevitable future. A figure of flesh and blood who, right now, in this very second, is simply trying to... be.
