The Endless Dream
by Sara Arjmand
Sometimes I drift so far away that I can no longer tell whether I'm dreaming or awake. Here, time no longer moves. The clocks remember the passing of seconds, yet their hands never arrive anywhere. I float through waves of color, living a dream without an ending. Around me, paper boats drift quietly—tiny pieces of the childhood dreams I never wanted to let go. They remind me of the days when hope was simple, imagination had no limits, and every folded piece of paper could carry me to another world. The clouds never leave the sky, no one calls my name to wake me, and I don't mind staying here a little longer. Perhaps some dreams are not meant to end. They simply continue until the boundary between memory, imagination, and reality fades away. I am still here... where time holds its breath, and my childhood dreams keep sailing, endlessly...
