Anorexia
by Lana_Eight
The art was created for the “ZM NATION” project, where 12 artists depicted 12 mental disorders, in support of the theme of mental health! This is when a person intentionally doesn't eat to avoid gaining weight. My painting depicts a girl where there is a hand of light that wants to help her, and there is a hand that consumes every cell of her body that cannot fully live. On top is a picture of food with calorie counting, which symbolizes that every meal is an excruciating count and stressful! This is a difficult subject for me as a mother, imagine not feeding an infant...... Your time has come and now your life will not repeat itself! Don't be afraid to seek professional help! Love yourself and take care of yourself!
