Led by Admiral Paco de la Fuente, they established a million-strong, glorious domed colony: Grande-City-One . But not all is how it seems on this strange, new planet 10 times larger than our own. Aside from Alpha Planet’s natural predators, extra-terrestrial threats, and extreme weather conditions – it seems that Grande-City-One was built on the remains of a highly advanced, ancient civilization. No one was aware of this past alien life until the first anniversary of Grande-City-One was celebrated. On this day - known as Vida Carnival – all the citizens come out to celebrate their amazing accomplishment. Dressed in Lucha Libre masks and colorful outfits, everyone lets loose in total anonymity. But that night, under the dome’s light show and music - beautiful, bright crystals about the size of a baby’s fist, appeared from thin air and floated in front of them. At first, these Neón Crystals seemed to be part of the show and many people grabbed them to enjoy their vibrancy. For most, the crystals just shined in their hands, but for a special few teenage children - something unexpected happened. Their hand absorbed the crystal, and they were granted a superpower – Neón Power! Now their Lucha Libre masks can be turned on and off at any time. When their masks are on, the Luchadores glow with Neón colors and their body is covered by a Neón suit. Although they can control the brightness, the more they battle the dimmer their suits get until the power runs out. The teenagers and their crystals need to rest before they can be at full strength again. With this Neón power, these Luchadores hold the future of Grande-City-One in their hands. Just like Earth of Old, some became heroes while others became villains. And now the cycle of good and evil is playing out in Grande-City-One . Worse yet - the Neon Crystals have also awakened a primordial Neón Power that is headed to destroy Earth’s only colony. Now you can collect one of these Neón Powered Characters and get to decide which path they will take.
