MIRROR OF FATE

MIRROR OF FATE

by Yulya Tsurupo

- HEY? - ANYONE HOME? Ding-dong - This is NOT a home. It's a PSYCHO WARD. - Oh, NO! This is MY HOME. This is MY MIND. Or is it going on in my head? ///Voices //Prison /Lonely wounded soul Is our mind a freedom or a prison? She looks through the keyhole. What does she see? Images, reflections, mirrors. Fragile, she hugs her knees. A broken heart can't be put back together. She's surrounded by imaginary colorful friends. Or are they not friends at all? Pills? The little white men are a swarm of thoughts that surround her. The light ribbons are a symbol of faith, purity and love. A slim hope of happiness and light remains.
