Ancient Fairies at Play MP4

by MotherBear

Deep beneath the ferns so high, Where golden sunbeams split the sky, Lives a tiny, freckled soul, Inside a mossy, hollow bowl. She wears a cap of spotted purple, Perched gently on her round head, The Little Mushroom Lady stands, With magic in her quiet hands. When twilight turns the forest blue, And grass is wet with heavy dew, A sudden spark of silver light Awakens in the deepening night. With beating wings and laughter clear, The woodland fairies soon appear, They drop from branches, soft and fleeting, To give the Mushroom Lady greeting. She brews a tea of clover sweet, And bakes a spore-dust berry treat, While fairies dance in rings of gold, To ancient songs the trees have told. They weave her ribbons made of thread, And place a lantern by her bed, A glowing pod of neon bright, To keep her safe until the light. And when the morning starts to gleam, They fade away into a dream, Leaving the lady fast asleep, Where roots and secret shadows creep Johanna Nyqvist and MotherBear 2026
