Freedom's Bloom
by Mitra✨_SGP
is a poignant exploration of incarceration and the longing for freedom, a theme that resonates throughout the collection. The female figure in the center of the frame depicts flexibility and strength. The imposing bars of the cage and the chain-link fence in the foreground limit his physical and emotional barriers. In this picture, I tried to express the famous sentence that Rumi said: "Then what about our wounds?" Shams said: "The light enters from the place of our wounds." Olive branches, a symbol of peace and hope, testify to his indomitable spirit. The contrasting elements of limitation and growth create a dynamic tension in the composition, inviting the viewer to reflect on the multifaceted nature of freedom and the transformative power of hope.
