Still on the Journey
by Mitra✨_SGP
Im a lover of Sohrab Sepehri, the Iranian poet, and this phrase is the title of one of his poems. It symbolizes an endless path of growth, experience, and reflection. In this painting, inspired by AI, Photoshop, and photography, I have depicted a train passing through the heart of a sunset—a metaphor for life and the passage of time, where each station represents a stage of evolution, and each ray of light tells a story of hope and poetic beauty. This artwork is created with a combination of colored pencils and oil paint on a 40×45 cm cardboard surface. The colored pencils capture the fine details and allow for quick sketching beneath the layers of paint, while the oil paint adds texture and depth to enhance the emotions within the piece. The warm, secluded atmosphere and the speed of the moving train—evident in the wind-blown hair—come together to evoke feelings and invite the viewer on a journey where, for a brief moment, they may seek the meaning of life within it. #SummerVibesArt
