Where Tears Find One Another

Amid the flood of sorrowful, frightened, and anxious people, these embraces have not been lost. In this artwork, through trembling lines and muted, gray leaning colors, an attempt has been made to create a space where time seems to pause—allowing a brief moment of human devotion to be captured and preserved, a reminder of days when nothing but an embrace could shelter a person. This piece is created with pencil, colored pencil, oil based thinner, and oil color glaze on cardboard.
