Dear
by Homa Vasiee
I was inspired by the poem of famous Iranian poet Saadi Shirazi. The theme of the poem is "in the whole universe you are one and only to me". I used Shekasteh script which is the cursive writing style that comes from Persian calligraphy. Shekasteh literally means broken. This physical artwork utilizes ink and the element of dot which is a significant symbol in Persian calligraphy.
