The Ocean in Me

Growing up on the ocean, the sights and sounds and smells have become a part of me, bone deep. Much of my traditional art and poetry pats tribute to the sea, both literally and metaphorically. At the water's edge, I feel energized, alive, with purpose. I feel both small and larger than life at the same time. I created the water color as a depiction of a day in my life.
