The Weight of Absence
The image talks to the isolation of human existence in an indifferent world. By reducing the human form to a distorted shadow on cold pavement and beyond, into water, I strip away identity to expose the fundamental loneliness of the individual. This stark contrast between light and dark is intended to serve as an existential mirror, capturing the weight of our own impermanence. The figure becomes a passing ghost, questioning whether we truly inhabit our reality or merely haunt it.
