Hoopoe
by Maryam
It's the 7th piece of nine pieces square that I made based on this thought: "all of us are humans. Despite our similarities and differences, We are complete individually. but eventually we are better together" This piece is making phinix piece complete. In the persian literature hoopoe is symbol of messenger for good news and the reason i made these pieces pair is because after a person rise from his sorrows, happiness is on the way. Inspired by persian carpets and tiles. Gouache on paperboard. 5.9"*5.9"
