Life in the long grass.
by Violet Bond
At this time of year in Northern Australia the spear grass covers everything. All the death that came before with the long dry season. All the bones entombed in the mud grown over with the lush grass forest. The green covers the fire, covers the ash, covers the dead. All that stands now is life, life that came with the rain. Life triumphant for a moment before the fire comes to claim the land again. Minted for #OBJKT4OBJKT
