Episode 9&10: The road that led to the sea
by Faavidel
I felt that the flood I was worried about had flowed away, and the house I built at the mouth of the river was floating on it. Throughout all these years, I had often thought about something that created a sense of insecurity and unrest within me. But since I had hidden half of myself under the hard layers I had woven around me, I never reached a correct answer. I knew that the thread of my lost puzzle was in my childhood and past, but I consciously did not go after it. By creating a new world above myself, I was like that maple tree in our yard on which they built that new house. But eventually, in the midst of this new path, becoming a new person and perhaps becoming a mother, I fell into its trap. If I had a choice, during those days more than ever, I wouldn’t want to think about the past.
