Selena

The photgraph was taken at a place called the McKinney Cotton Mill in McKinney, Texas. It was once the world's largest denim manufacturer, and is now used for a variety of different business and an industrial wedding venue. It dates back to 1910. The Woman in the photograph is named Selena. At the time, she had one son and a husband. I don't know if she has had more kids or is still married. She hired me to photograph this sexy session for her. This is an appreciation and celebration of the female form in geometrical perfection through visceral expression. The presence of a female form in a 3D space is a visual delight. The conception and development of the 'third space' concept were inspired by the well-defined shape of a woman. Through the body's silhouette, the third space is created and represented by the circles on both sides of the woman. The body is indeed a temple, a temple of art. (This is a collaboration between Minas Sanim and Leslie Spurlock).
