The Art of Genocide

The Art of Genocide: Starting from late 2020 until the end of 2220 there was a genocidal war in Tigray, the northern art of Ethiopia. 7 countries involved in this war directly or indirectly to attack the small region of Tigray, which is part of Ethiopia itself a country who spearheaded the this barbaric war. More than 1 million people lost their lives, more than 200,000 women and girls were raped by soldiers and militias, infants left to be starved to death, medical aid, access to health care and medicine were unimaginable during those dark two years. Basically pandora's box have been opened and I witnessed the extremities of human cruelty. During the course of the war I had no means of expressing my stress and anxiety induced by this genocidal war but create these art works which are testaments to the crimes and unimaginable deeds committed by the combatants. Let this short film made by compilation of my art works be a lesson to all to value peace and love above all and stand for what is right and what is humane.
