I've been in the habit of unwanted thoughts since I was 6 years old. Then small problems and solutions that shouldn't be a problem for a healthy person became a nightmare for me. I tried my best to suppress the garbage thoughts, but it only made it worse. As I grew up, anxiety became more debilitating—palpitations, chest pain, trembling, shortness of breath, and fear of losing control. This peaked at the age of 18. I couldn't communicate anymore, I couldn't shop, I quit my studies. Adding drugs only helped in the short term, but suffocating anxiety always caught up with me in the end. I think it was 1960 when I stopped touching water and food in my house, I thought my family was against me, they wanted to poison me. I had to cover my whole body with clothes, my skin should not touch infected surfaces. I often had dreams that they were getting rid of me, I couldn't trust anyone anymore. Sometimes it seemed to me that I was living in a simulation, I was the only real person here and I needed to get out of the game. I don't remember much from my past, but I was very ill. My mother brought me here after a long grueling struggle. It was the worst thing that ever happened to me. I was scared, I couldn't do anything. Darkness. A flash of light. I see the nurse's face, she giggles, but then remembers that I'm a patient. She helps me out of bed and weighs me. I'm not allowed to see the number on the scale. She's taking all my things. The guards appeared and dragged me into another isolated room and I screamed as loudly as I could. I realized that this was the end, they were going to destroy me, I was right. Then the doctors came, they held me so tightly, they stuck a needle into my body. But I was still struggling. I knew if I succumbed to sedation, they would destroy me. Although I would be happy to get out of the game. They're gone, the exit is locked. I scream, I ask why the doors are locked. My eyes close and my mind goes dark, but I'm not sleeping. I hear a voice inside me saying that someone will come and let me out soon. But I don't believe him either. The realization of being trapped among fake people who didn't treat me like a real person. I do not know how many years, days or hours have passed. I'm in a suffocating trap of drug-induced insanity. It is difficult to describe the overwhelming feeling of powerlessness and fear in a room with a locked door. Help me free myself and get out of the game.
