"The First Green Light" was created for #EMERGENT - a curation dedicated to mental health awareness, healing, and the quiet strength it takes to move through darkness. A lone figure sits before a window glowing with green light. Outside, a tree waits in the distance - not as an escape, but as a sign that something living is still there. For me, this work is about the first fragile moment when recovery becomes visible again. Not a loud breakthrough. Not a sudden cure. Just a small green light returning to the mind after a long silence. The green in this piece carries growth, awareness, resilience, and the slow return of hope.
