October Nightmares and Delights

In October Nightmares and Delights, I explore the interplay between whimsy and the uncanny that characterizes the Halloween season. The central figure—a grinning jack-o’-lantern—anchors a riot of fall foliage, gourds, and collage scraps, all rendered with high-contrast acrylics and black contours to create a pop-art rhythm. The piece invites viewers to pause in a moment of seasonal wonder, where familiar October symbols become a dreamscape of color, texture, and playful spookiness.
