I'm a street photographer based in Istanbul, shaped by a lifelong relationship with the street—not just its surfaces, but the emotions beneath them. It's a living character I can study but never fully understand. My approach is subtle, intuitive, and patient—I prioritize feeling and timing over technical prowess, chasing what's rarely seen rather than what's simply visible. Light, shadow, and geometry appear only as guides to an underlying emotion, never as the subject. A photograph, for me, is less a record of an event than a captured mood—I want to leave viewers with an impression, not an explanation. My projects range from major cities to remote corners, and before every shoot I spend days observing, walking, and engaging with people.
